Architecture is thought made visible. It articulates fullness and hollowness, light and shadow, silence and circulation. It is a trace of what we are, but also of what we seek to become. It shapes our gestures as much as our gaze, it envelops us without our thinking, like a second collective skin. It is part of the landscape, sometimes in harmony, sometimes in rupture. It can blend in with it respectfully, or on the contrary, alter it, erase it. Sometimes a simple sandcastle abandoned to the wind, sometimes a sculpture carved from the rock, it oscillates between fleeting fragility and deep anchoring. One day, it rises. Another, it fades. And sometimes, it remains, and becomes a ruin.
