what : During the general lockdown of march 2020, Pietro Minelli & Natalia Criado were in Ráquira, Colombia. They saw the cultural abundance of Ráquira as an opportunity to create a non-profit project that will reassess the concept of art and sculpture as a way of bringing people together in times of isolation. Alone together is a connecting thread between tradition and technology using a simple dynamic. I was invited along other designers from around the world, to draw a vase. Pietro & Natalia, together with a group of craftsmen interpreted it artistically with the traditional material of Ráquira, red soil.
Pendant le confinement de mars 2020, Pietro Minelli et Natalia Criado se sont rendus à Ráquira, en Colombie. Ils ont vu dans la richesse culturelle de Ráquira l'occasion de créer un projet à but non lucratif qui réévaluerait le concept d'art et de sculpture comme moyen de rapprocher les gens en période d'isolement. "Alone Together" est un fil conducteur entre tradition et technologie, basé sur une dynamique simple. J'ai été invité, avec d'autres designers du monde entier, à dessiner un vase. Pietro et Natalia, accompagnés d'un groupe d'artisans, l'ont interprété de manière artistique avec le matériau traditionnel de Ráquira, la terre rouge.
