The artefact emerges as a disruption. Intentional or not, it alters the expected course, distorts perception, diverts attention. Whether born of a human hand or an accident of reality, the artefact confronts us with the unforeseen. It is a rupture, a deviation that reveals what we were not looking to see. In this encounter with error, with chance, there is a form of acceptance. Control gives way. A new way of seeing begins. And suddenly, what once appeared as an anomaly becomes a path, a possible answer to a question we hadn’t yet thought to ask.
L’artefact surgit comme une perturbation. Volontaire ou non, il altère le cours prévu, déforme la lecture, dévie l’attention. Qu’il soit dû à une main humaine ou à un accident du réel, l’artefact nous confronte à l’imprévu. C’est une faille, un écart qui rend visible ce que l’on ne cherchait pas à voir. Il y a dans cette rencontre avec l’erreur, avec le hasard, une forme d’acceptation. On cesse de maîtriser. On commence à observer autrement. Et soudain, ce qui était une anomalie devient une piste, une réponse possible à une question que l’on ne s’était pas encore posée.
