Pistachios, walnuts, shells are the remains of a daily pleasure: crack, eat, throw away. Collected from my own consumption, they rise and become material that will not disappear. To sublimate these remains is to give value to what we forget. It is to bring out beauty where we do not look for it.
Pistaches, noix, les coques sont les restes d’un plaisir quotidien : casser, manger, jeter. Collectées de ma propre consommation, elles s’élèvent et deviennent matière pour ne pas disparaitre. Sublimer ces restes, c’est donner de la valeur à ce que l’on oublie. C’est faire surgir la beauté là où l’on ne la cherche pas.
