An era of carved stones and primitive gestures, the Paleolithic was the dawn of humanity.
Man shaped what he found: bones, flint, wood, skins. He learned to read nature, to inhabit it, to fear it, to follow it.
Today, another era is dawning, one of new materials, chemistry, and processed oil.
We create what nature never imagined: plastic is our new rock.
Shiny, smooth, immortal, it does not decompose; it persists.
We have become alchemists of the Anthropocene.
