Arequipa, Peru.
A volcano is an open mouth between the surface we inhabit and the burning unknown of the depths.
It gives us a glimpse of what rumbles beneath, what remains hidden but can be felt intensely, reminding us that everything can change in an instant.
The fiery, saturated colors of its molten matter seem to belong to another world.
It is both catastrophe and rebirth.
